From the Chief Executive Christmas and the end of 2015 are fast approaching, and we say farewell to another year and plan for 2016 and an exciting year ahead. Your 2016 calendar of events, Sub Club and Country Chapter dates will be distributed late in December 2015. Thank you to the Members who have updated their details and Membership cards at the Library with Lynn Denton from the Membership Department. It is also a timely reminder to all Members, if you have friends or family that you would like to nominate as a prospective Member of your Club, now is the time to do so. There is a growing waiting list, which your Committee reviews in March and September each year. The Country Chapters and Sub Clubs are the foundation of Tattersall’s activities and events and are a great way to meet like minded people and get involved in your Club. This will enable our Regional Members to view the fine artworks created by Australia’s leading artists in their local areas. We look forward to hosting local Members at the opening nights and the opportunity exists for our Sub Clubs to make a weekend of the openings, all planned for Friday nights. Dates are as follow:- • Redland Art Gallery – Sunday 6 March until Sunday 17 April 2016 • Gympie Regional Gallery – Tuesday 31 May until Saturday 9 July 2016 • Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum – Saturday 3 September until Saturday 1 October 2016 • Childers Art Space – Tuesday 25 October until Sunday 11 December 2016 • Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery – Tuesday 3 January until Sunday 12 February 2017 • Roma on Bungil Gallery – Friday 24 February until Sunday 9 April 2017 The Club will be closed from Boxing Day and will reopen on Monday 4 January 2016. The Health and Wellness Centre will be open for limited hours throughout this period from 6.00am to 2.00pm but closed on Christmas, Boxing and New Year’s Day.
