Bowls Club Will Charlton The Bowls Club Charity Day was a very beautiful sunny day with the green running very well making it an exceptional day to play bowls. The overall atmosphere and feeling on the day was great with everyone enjoying themselves. We were welcomed by the President of St Lucia Bowls Club Tony Burton and fielded 18 teams on the bowling green. We had three representatives from St Vincent’s Hospital, two from Montrose Therapy and Respite Services and 50 Tattler Summer 2015 two from Tattersall’s Club; Dale St George, the Club’s Chief Executive and Committeeman Stuart Fraser. Musgrave Hill from the Gold Coast also had three teams present led by Steve Feeney. We had another successful day, proceeds down a bit from last year our profit for this year was $3,780 where in 2014 it was $4,189, which was a little disappointing. The money is raised through the generosity of those who donate prizes for our major raffle. This year we had over 100 prizes.
