Shooters Club Liam R. O’Brien (on behalf of Michael Vail, Carl Hilton, Conor O’Brien, Nick Webb, Rob Andersen and Brad Rogers.) 1 3 As we edge closer to our annual trophy shoot, the Committee and I are pleased with the participation from Tattersall’s Shooters Club Members and their guests for this calendar year. So far we have: • Spent over 6,500 rounds of different ammunition. • Made around 200 entries in range registers. • Seen another 30 or so people go through a weapons safety course. 44 Tattler Summer 2015 4 5 • Sent four of our Members (including me) off on road to becoming accredited range officers. In preparation for our Committee meeting this month, I am pleased to welcome Nick Webb, Rod Andersen and Brad Rogers to the Committee. All three have been great contributors (along with a list of others) and have offered their time to assist the existing Committee in continuing to run fun, novel and most importantly safe shooting events. As we look forward to 2016, I am excited by the prospect of exceeding our statistics for this year. I am confident that our end of year shoot will see us get more than 7,000 spent rounds for the year, which makes for a worthy challenge in 2016. We wish all Tattersall’s Members and their families, a safe and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year. See you soon at the Club or out on the range. 2 1.
