LAURIE WEEKS @L_Weeks Position: Prop Physical: 180cm/115kg Date of Birth: 5 April 1986 Place of Birth: Sydney, AUS Super Rugby Caps: 61 Super Rugby Points: 5 Super Rugby Debut: Round 1, 2009 vs Bulls, Pretoria Test Caps: 0 Test Points: 0 Test Debut – Foundation Rebel Laurie Weeks bounced back from a 2012 ruined by injury to feature in every game of the 2013 season, mirroring his effort from the club’s inaugural 2011 campaign. The hugely popular Weeks was tipped for Wallaby honours by many midway through 2012 before having to endure the setback of a full shoulder reconstruction. Weeks will enter the 2014 season with 61 Super Rugby caps to his name. He played 23 times for the Reds (2009-10) before moving south as a foundation Rebel. One of the most outgoing and personable members of the squad, Weeks is a similarly effervescent presence on the pitch. Technically solid and a powerful scrummager, he is also extremely mobile, having an uncanny knack to always pop up in the right place at the right time.
