The Irish club won the Heineken cup three times during his spell there. Sexton captained the Irish schoolboys and Irish U20 sides, playing with many current internationals. He was expected to compete with Pat Leafa and Shota Horie for the hooker spot left vacant by Ged Robinson, but a pre-season ACL injury ended his 2014 campaign before it even had a chance to begin. Sexton’s scrummaging ability is sure to come in handy, as is his ability to play cold and wet conditions when the Rebels hit the road.
