The 25-year-old demonstrated speed and agility in attack while his defensive performance against the Crusaders – including two blockbuster try-saving tackles – was a favourite in the end-of‑season highlights package. Stubbs began his Super Rugby career at the Brumbies with three matches in 2010 before making his international Sevens debut in the same year, playing in the Cup-winning side in London.
