Manu added one cap in 2013, coming off the bench in the final round against the Brumbies but will be challenging for a regular spot in the 23-man side in 2014. The 2012 Force Rising Star represented Australia at Schoolboys and Under 20s and built on his scrummaging experience with a stint at North Harbour in the 2012 ITM Cup. Manu was part of the Australian U20 team that finished second to New Zealand at the 2010 Junior World Championship, losing 62-17 in the Final. The New Zealander has a wealth of rugby experience behind him at a provincial, national and international level and if fit and selected, will earn his 100th Super Rugby cap in Round 2 against the Waratahs in Sydney. The attacking scrumhalf’s experience was integral for the Force last season and his ability to spot a gap resulted in a number of linebreaks throughout the season and a number of tries for himself and his teammates. He was ranked fourth in Super Rugby for passes (965, behind Brendan McKibbin, Nic White and TJ Perenara) and proved a valuable asset with a team-leading four try assists for the Force. He has previously represented the Hurricanes (2007-09) and the Blues (2010-12).
