The powerful prop initially made his name with the University of Cape Town Ikeys Tigers before representing Western Province in the Vodacom and Currie Cups. In 2013, he was a regular starter for the Vodacom Cup side that made it to the semi-finals but succumbed to eventual champions, the Golden Lions 44-25. Despite being part of the Stormers setup last year, Heiberg remains uncapped at Super Rugby level and will be seeking to change that in 2014. MATT HODGSON @matthodgson678 Position: Loose Forward Physical: 185cm/103kg Date of Birth: 25 June 1981 Place of Birth: Sydney, AUS Super Rugby Caps: 97 Super Rugby Points: 35 Super Rugby Debut: Round 1, 2006 vs Brumbies, Perth Test Caps: 6 Test Points: 0 Test Debut 5 June 2010 vs Fiji, Canberra Matt Hodgson will again captain the side in 2014 after taking the reins for the 2013 season. Hodgson donned the number seven jersey in the club’s inaugural game in 2006 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. The robust and versatile back-rower can play on either side of the scrum or at No.8, and – regardless of the number of his back – is renowned for his high involvement and consistent ball-winning at the breakdown. He won 11 turnovers for the Force last season, trailing only Chris Alcock (17). In 2014, the six-time Wallaby will close in on becoming the first player to reach the 100 game milestone for the Force and extending his caps record for the West Australian club.
