2014 SUPER RUGBY MEDIA GUIDE BRUMBIES 36 NIC WHITE @white_nic Position: Scrumhalf Physical: 175cm/82kg Date of Birth: 13 June 1990 Place of Birth: Scone, AUS Super Rugby Caps: 34 Super Rugby Points: 33 Super Rugby Debut: Round 16, 2011 vs Reds, Brisbane Test Caps: 10 Test Points: 0 Test Debut 17 August 2013 vs New Zealand, Sydney Another Canberra-based player to have burst onto the international rugby scene over the last two years, Nic White is now a Wallabies regular. While White’s bullet pass, running game and booming boot are all among the competition’s finest, it’s his ability to get to the breakdown and clear the ball at pace that ranks him as one of Australia’s best. It was an agonising wait to the national setup for White who was not used, despite sitting on the bench for 180 minutes in 2012. But that time has been more than recouped in 2013, with the scrumhalf making appearances throughout The Rugby Championship and then again during the Spring Tour. White made his Super Rugby debut in 2011 when the Brumbies upset the championship-winning Reds on their home turf – the only loss inflicted at Suncorp Stadium that season.
