Having recovered from his injury, Coetzee enjoyed some game time late in the 2013 Currie Cup tournament and is ready to hit the ground running once more. He is solid on attack, making nippy breaks at any opportunity, and is certainly one of the players to watch in this year’s competition once more. A burly hooker, Coetzee started his career in the Free State at U19 level. He also represented the University of Pretoria in the Varsity Cup (2010-11) before being selected by the Blue Bulls for the 2012 Currie Cup tournament.
