Regularly amongst the leading tacklers, Carter’s value lies in his tireless work ethic that constantly sees him as one of the club’s most effective defenders and set piece operators. Standing at 200cm, Carter is an indispensable link in the lineout and is praised by the club’s front-row stocks for his ability to add starch to the scrum. Just 16 games shy of his 50th Brumbies cap, Carter commands plenty of respect from his peers and should he get through the season unscathed, will bring up his half century against the Force at home in Round 19. A fussy eater, Carter’s Saturday night habits see him relaxing at home where he will consume a large meatlovers pizza and a jumbo garlic bread. Lethal in broken play, the ‘Prince’ has been one of the club’s best in counter attack, linking nicely with fellow outside backs Jesse Mogg, Henry Speight and Joe Tomane. Now in his fourth full season of Super Rugby, Coleman is a local product from St Edmunds College and scored three tries last season in 12 appearances. After representing the Australian Schoolboys, U20s and Sevens sides, Coleman has proven himself an international competitor who will continue to improve at professional level over the next few years. In his spare time, Coleman keeps a constant eye on the greyhounds and is a quality tipster.
