He was due to join Dax in 2014, but answered the call to return to Pretoria, where he last played Super Rugby in 2010. He also had stints with the Cheetahs (2008-09) and Sharks (2011) before his French adventure. Potgieter’s versatility will make him a valuable squad member, as he can cover most backline positions and possesses a very accurate and strong boot.
