Fisher returned to Canberra in 2012 after a successful stint with Munster in Ireland as Forwards Coach. His first two seasons back in the Australian capital saw the forwards develop into one of the most impressive units in the competition and as a result, Fisher’s reputation enhanced even further. Now in his 16th year of professional coaching, Fisher boasts a wealth of experience, including a Magners League title and successive Heineken Cup semi-final appearances with Munster. A former university star in both the Canberra and Queensland club rugby competitions, Fisher believes that hard work and attention to detail are essential keys to success. STEPHEN LARKHAM Position: Head Coach Born: 29 May 1974, Canberra AUS Coaching History: Brumbies Attack Coach (2011) Brumbies Backs Coach (2012-13) Brumbies Head Coach (2014-) One of the greatest fly-halves to ever play the game is quickly developing into a first-class rugby mentor, with Stephen Larkham taking on the Head Coach position in 2014. Now in his third year as the club’s back’s mentor, Larkham has made the seamless transition from player to coach, exemplified by the entire backline earning Australian call-ups in 2013 with the exception of Henry Speight (ineligible) and Andrew Smith (injured). A Canberra local who bleeds yellow and navy, Larkham has been involved with the Brumbies since day one. He started in the club’s first ever game (a 13-9 win over Transvaal in 1996), played in both winning finals in 2001 and 2004 and has flourished as a coach over the last three seasons. Larkham represented Australia on 102 occasions, scoring 135 points over an international career spanning 12 years that included a World Cup triumph in 1999.
