The loosehead prop had a solid season and proved to be a strong ball carrier with explosive qualities. Manu is a sound set piece operator. He has played ITM Cup for Auckland and is now with Counties Manukau. He represented the Blues in 2011 and 2012. RHYS MARSHALL Position: Hooker Physical: 184cm/104kg Date of Birth: 12 October 1992 Place of Birth: New Plymouth, NZL Super Rugby Caps: 9 Super Rugby Points: 5 Super Rugby Debut: Round 2, 2013 vs Highlanders, Dunedin Test Caps: 0 Test Points: 0 Test Debut – Rhys Marshall enters his second year with the Chiefs. The young hooker enjoyed a strong Super Rugby season that saw nine caps, including his Round 2 debut against the Highlanders. Marshall is an energetic and enthusiastic young player with a great capacity for hard work. He represented the New Zealand U20 side at the 2012 Junior World Championship in South Africa. Marshall played his first ITM Cup season for Taranaki in 2013 and will be seeking more opportunities this season.
