Kepu began his rugby career as a rampaging No. 8 and a member of the New Zealand U17, U19 and U21 sides. He switched from back row to prop and was part of the Chiefs’ wider training group, as well as playing provincially for Counties Manukau between 2005 and 2007. After returning to Sydney in 2008, Kepu was selected in the Waratahs squad that made the Super Rugby Final and capped off a hugely successful season by being named in the Australian squad for the end of season tour, making his Test debut against Italy in a 30-20 victory. Sekope lives in Prestons in Sydney’s southwest with his wife Anna, daughter Faith-Rose and son Israel. He takes an active interest in volleyball and his unusual middle name of ‘Miami’ was a product of his family’s love of the American TV show ‘Miami Vice.’ JONNO LANCE @jonno_lance Position: Centre Physical: 183cm/92kg Date of Birth: 27 June 1990 Place of Birth: Canberra, AUS Super Rugby Caps: 21 Super Rugby Points: 8 Super Rugby Debut: Round 17, 2011 vs Force, Perth Test Caps: 0 Test Points: 0 Test Debut – Jonno Lance joins the Waratahs after spending 2011-13 in Queensland as part of the Reds’ Senior Squad. He has the talent and ability to play at 10, 12, 13 and 15 and is an extremely talented goalkicker. A former Australian U20 and Australian Sevens player, Lance debuted for the Reds in 2011 and earned 21 Super Rugby caps with the Brisbane-based club. He is the only member of the Waratahs’ 2014 playing squad to have won a Super Rugby title. Lance was born in Canberra and is the son of former Canberra Raiders rugby league captain Dean Lance. He is a graduate of The Southport School and is studying architecture at university.
